Earlier this month, it was announced that VH1 Divas is back, and will feature performances from Ciara, Miley Cyrus, Kelly Rowland, Demi Lovato, and Jordin Sparks as they all pay homage to the most iconic divas of dance music, including the late Whitney Houston and Donna Summer.
Well today it was announced that songstress Kelly Clarkson, Pitbull, Melanie Fiona and Metric have been added to the Adam Lambert-hosted event.
While there is still no word to what each of the stars will be performing or who they will be paying homage to, it can be expected that Jordin Sparks will sing one of Whitney‘s hit songs, or “Celebration,” the lead single from the Sparkle soundtrack.
Tickets for the event are available for purchase with proceeds to benefit the Save the Music Foundation. The VH1-backed charity is dedicated to keeping music education alive in American public schools and has provided more than $49.5 million new musical instruments to date.
An after party is also set to be hosted by Jordin, who is an Ambassador for the foundation, with special guest DJs The Dolls (Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe), and KISSette. The show will broadcast live from L.A.’s Shrine Auditorium on Sunday, Dec. 16 at 9 P.M EST (8 CST).
