In the course of Rihanna‘s seven year career, two things have remained obvious: gays love Ri and Ri loves her gays!
After shocking some fans earlier this week by stating that one of the formats for her Unapolegetic album will cost over $200, the “Diamonds” singer was crowned queen of West Hollywood during the city’s annual Halloween Carnival, where she was also presented with the key to the city by the mayor of West Hollywood, who bowed in her presence.
To make the honor even more fun, RiRi was given a tiara, a scepter and sat on a throne. Later that evening, the Grammy winner hosted a Halloween Costume Ball at Greystone Manor, which featured friends Chris Brown and Paris Hilton. Take a look at what she had to say about the honor below:
“Thank you guys so much. I feel really special. I do feel like a queen right now, I’m not even from this city, so it’s a big deal to be honored in the city and by the gay and lesbian community. I will make you guys very proud.”
