The leading One Direction fan website, OneDirection.net , has launched a brand new iPhone app called One Direction World , enabling fans of the band to keep in touch with the latest news and gossip surrounding the five superstar boys.
Some of its features include photos of the band, wallpapers and song lyrics, as well as a section where fans can view the latest tweets from each of the boys.
The iPhone app launch comes on the back of their successful Android app , which currently is the most downloaded One Direction app on Google Play, with over 420,000 total downloads – giving it a large, active user base.
Other notable features include a section where users can view videos of 1D , and another section providing up-to-date tour and concert ticket information.
The new app has been downloaded by over 20,000 users in the first two weeks, and they’ll be releasing regular updates to keep it fresh and current. Read more about the app and download it here .
We’ve downloaded One Direction World ourselves and it certainly looks like a well-designed and time-saving little app — so we give it a big recommendation. You know that a boyband has made it when they have great apps like this made for them :)
