Maroon 5‘s fourth studio album Overexposed may not be selling as well as I expected (it has so far only sold 550,00 copies in it’s 4½ month release), but that isn’t stopping the group form having success and proving that they are here to stay. The album’s official second single One More Night,” has managed to hold the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a total of nine weeks so far.

The song has equaled the nine-week run of Carly Rae Jepsen‘s “Call Me Maybe,” which was named Billboard’s Song of the Summer. It also passes Gotye‘s “Somebody That I Used to Know,” featuring Kimbra, for the year’s longest #1 run for a song with male vocals.
