The daughter of the late Anna Nicole Smith, Dannielynn Birkhead, seems to be following in her mother’s footsteps, in a good way of course. The six-year-old cutie is one of the new faces for GUESS Kids’ campaign.
Anna appeared in a variety of GUESS ads during the early 1990s, which makes Dannielynn the first second-generation GUESS girl. Take a look at what Larry Birkhead, Dannielynn’sfather, had to say about his daughter modeling below:
“Dannielynn had fun paying tribute to her mom with the Guess ad campaign, but it is back to school for her which is her focus. The first thing she asked is ‘When will I be on the shopping bags like Mommy?’ She has always looked up to her mom’s image and … I think that this is kind of Dannielynn’s way of paying tribute to her mom in her own special way. I’m not pushing her into stardom, my goal for her is for her to be a child and just do what all kids do.”
I think it’s wonderful that Dannielynn wants to be like her mother. She was only 5 months old when her mother passed away and I think the two of them would have had a wonderful relationship with each other.
As she gets older, I hope she learns a lot of GOOD things about her mother, instead of the negative things that were said and done about her during her time in the spotlight. Thoughts?
