Christina Aguilera’s Official ‘Lotus’ Album Artwork
Christina Aguilera took to her official Twitter page to share the official album cover for Lotus with her fans! Following the same direction as the single cover for “Your Body,” Xtina buds from a blooming flower, which can be interrupted as a lotus.
“Your Body” serves as the album’s lead single and has so far managed to debut at #34 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, as well as #22 on the US Pop Songs chart and #22 on the iTunes Singles chart. It was composed by Savan Kotecha, Max Martin and Shellback, with production handled by Martin and Shellback, and has earned positive reviews among critics and fans.
Lotus is currently set to be released on November 13th, and will feature contributions from Sia, Alex Da Kid, Max Martin and Shellback, just to name a few.
I like the album cover, but I don’t love it. The colors and themes work very well together with the title, but they seem to have went a little too overboard with the photoshopping and airbrushing. It doesn’t even look as if it’s actually her body that her head is on. Thoughts?
