Maroon 5’s “One More Night” Reaches #1 on Hot 100

After spending 12 weeks on the chart (a good 10 of those weeks were at #2), Maroon 5‘s “One More Night” has managed to remove Taylor Swift from the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart to #2.

This serves as the group’s third single to reach the #1 spot, the first being 2007’s “Make Me Wonder,” which held the spot for three weeks, and the second, 2011’s “Moves Like Jagger,” featuring Christina Aguilera, for four weeks.

Sadly (but never doubt the moves that can be made on the Hot 100) “Payphone,” which features Wiz Khalifa, only managed to peak at #2 during its 19 week period on the chart. The song currently sits at #15 this week and serves as the official first single from the band’s fourth studio album, Overexposed, which was released on June 26th.

In other chart news, P!nk‘s “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” holds the #1 spot on the Radio Songs chart and moves to #5 on the Hot 100, while fun.‘s “Some Nights” sits atop the On-Demand Songs chart and moves to #3 on the Hot 100. Flo Rida‘s “Whistle” falls to #4 this week.

Rounding out the Top 10 is Justin Bieber‘s “As Long as You Love Me,” featuring Big Sean at #6, Ellie Goulding‘s “Lights” at #7, Alex Clare‘s “Too Close” at #8, Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen‘s “Good Time” at #9 and Neon Trees’ “Everybody Talks” at #10.
