This Summer, Louis Vuitton launched its most significant global artistic collaboration to date with legendary Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama.
Pop-up stores in New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, Paris, and Selfridges in London incorporated the 83-year-old pop artist’s complex installations and usage of hallucination-induced polka dots.
In London, Louis Vuitton and Kusama completely took over Selfridges‘ legendary windows and its ever-changing Wonder Room, as well as an unprecedented 24-window design, the concept store, and a giant Yayoi Kusama statue.
Seamlessly mixing fashion and art, Glamour Spain featured the collaboration in its August 2012 issue. Watch the London takeover below and check out photos from the collection as well!
