Jhené Aiko‘s music video for “3:16 AM” may have released about a month ago but we’ve all been waiting rather impatiently for the single to be available for download.
But don’t worry, the melancholy Fisticuffs-produced track has finally hit iTunes and Amazon and official single artwork has been revealed as well (see above).
The official single release has each and every Jhené fan beyond excited, and as one puts it:
“Jhene is a true artist, her lyrical content is unmatched right now in the music industry and she provides a much needed breath of fresh air. If you are not familiar with her music download her mix tape ‘Sailing souls’ ( Not on itunes) but free. I cannot wait for her full CD Souled Out trust me, Once you here her voice and music you will be hooked. One of the best songs I have heard in 2012.”
We expect the song to appear on the Def Jam newbie’s highly-anticipated official debut release, soul(ed) out, which is preceeded by her critically-acclaimed mixtape, .sailing soul(s).
Both the album and “3:16 AM” follow the singer-songwriter’s recent collaborations with hip-hop newcomers Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul.
