The G.O.O.D Music crew stopped by Funk Flex‘s show on HOT 97 this week, where Big Sean, CyHi Da Prynce and Common dropped some live bars while Pusha didn’t seem to be in the mood, and Teyana recorded the session.
Today the group, which also includes Kanye West, John Legend, and Kid Cudi, released Cruel Summer (iTunes / Amazon) — their highly-anticipated debut 12-track compilation album.
It features appearances by Jay-Z, Ma$e, R. Kelly, Marsha Ambrosius, The-Dream, and Jadakiss.
The album is currently preceded by “Mercy,” which has reached #1 on the Hot Hip-hop songs chart and #13 on the Billboard Hot 100. Another song, entitled “New God Flow,” was released a few weeks ago, and serves as the album’s official second single.
As for the Hot 97 appearance, I say Cyhi killed it. What do you think?
