A couple of days ago it was announced that Bruno Mars would be releasing “Locked Out of Heaven,” the official lead single from his upcoming second studio album. Well today I am pleased to share the title of the album with you, and for some reason I have to say it really works.

Unorthodox Jukebox is the name, and it is set to be released on December 11th on Atlantic Records.

The album will feature production from Mark Ronson , Jeff Bhasker , Emile Haynie and Diplo , just to name a few.

It will also be executive produced by The Smeezingtons , Bruno ‘s three-man songwriting and production team.

Mr. Mars also covers the latest issue of Billboard Magazine where he speaks on the album. Take a look at what he had to say below:

“This is me going into the studio and recording and writing whatever I want, this album represents my freedom.”

“I’ve had big record label presidents look me in the face and say, ‘Your music sucks, you don’t know who you are, your music is all over the place, and we don’t know how to market this stuff. Pick a lane and come back to us,'” he says. “That was disgusting to me, because I’m not trying to be a circus act.”

“I listen to a lot of music, and I want to have the freedom and luxury to walk into a studio and say, ‘Today I want to do a hip-hop, R&B, soul or rock record.'”
