Following the release of two critically-acclaimed new singles, “Hablemos de Amor“ and “Bien Ribetiao,” Panamanian hip-hop duo Los Rakas is set to perform at The Independent in San Francisco on September 7th.
The politically-conscious “Hablemos de Amor” uses the “Rep JA” riddim to speak out against police brutality, economic oppression and the senselessness of street violence, with a special shout out to slain teens Trayvon Martin and Oscar Grant.
While the latest, “Bien Ribetiao,” takes a more entertaining route with very Cali-style party vibe. Join the party while Los Rakas is in the Bay next month!
