It has been announced that P!nk serves as the latest spokeswoman for Covergirl , joining Ellen DeGeneres , Drew Barrymore and Taylor Swift — just to name a few, who have all had campaigns with the beauty brand. Take a look at what Esi Eggleston Bracey , VP and General Manager of Covergirl had to say below:
“ P!nk is a powerful and provocative role model, who has always been an advocate of individualism and making no apologies for who you are. That combination of irreverence and integrity is exactly what the Covergirl brand loves about her and identifies with.”
P!nk’s campaign is set to debut within the fall of this year, which also coincides with her upcoming sixth studio album The Truth About Love , which is set to be released on September 18th. The album is currently preceded by its lead single “ Blow Me (One Last Kiss) ,” which has so far managed to reach #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
I think that P!nk will be a great spokesperson for the brand and I agree with Bracey’s reason, but I would like to add that P!nk has had her own style since her debut back in 2000. The dark pink hair, soulful chops, and tomboy swag (did I really just say swag?) all work together and put her in a category by herself.
