A couple of weeks ago I shared that Meek Mill‘s long-awaited debut studio album Dreams & Nightmares has been pushed back from its original August 28th release date. Well today I have wonderful news for you. According to Rap-Up, the album is now set to be released on October 30th.
The 25-year-old rapper has been making quite a name for himself with his Dreamchasers mixtapes, and has been causing controversy with Dreams & Nightmares’ lead single “Amen”, which features Drake. Take a look at what he had to say about the album below:
“I’ma give you the nightmare side, coming up in the streets and actually being in jail…to the dream side of being on tour with Drake and 2 Chainz and Waka Flocka and traveling the world.”
“A lot of people been shying away from the real rapping and hip-hop. I’m really representing, when I come out with my album, I want to have a classic album, an Illmatic, a Hard Knock Life, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ type, a hip-hop album.”
