Kanye West has revealed the official album cover for G.O.O.D. Music‘s upcoming and highly-anticipated compilation album, Cruel Summer. Set to be released on September 4th, the album will feature appearances from John Legend, 2 Chainz, Teyana Taylor and Big Sean – just to name a few.

The album is currently preceded by “Mercy,” which has managed to reach #1 on the Hot Hip-hop songs chart and #13 on the Billboard Hot 100. Another song, entitled “New God Flow,” was released a few weeks ago, and serves as the album’s official second single.

The cover features a 3-D statue (yes, people, 3-D!) posing topless and will be released in a tri-fold digipack packaging. Where on earth do I begin to speak on this cover and my love for it? The fact that it comes super close to the Watch the Throne cover should be enough, but it isn’t.

It’s as if the cover and packaging all together was hand carved in concrete and individually wrapped for our pleasure. I was gonna buy the album digitally, but I must purchase a physical copy so I can admire its wonderfulness in person!!!
