The 2012 BET Awards took place on Sunday and the stars aligned for the 12th annual event.
With lukewarm performances by Usher, Nicki Minaj and Frankie Beverly & Maze, the Samuel L. Jackson-hosted event also featured an amazing tribute to Whitney Houston. Monica, Brandy, Whitney’s mother Cissy and Chaka Kahn all sang in her honor.
