'Black Dynamite' animated series coming to Adultswim on July 15th!
Black Dynamite, the highly-anticipated blaxploitation-movie-turned-cartoon, is coming exclusively to Cartoon Network‘s Adultswim in July!
Directed by Carl Jones of The Boondocks, the series further chronicles the exploits of former CIA agent Black Dynamite and his crew, and features the voice talent of original cast members Michael Jai White, Tommy Davidson, Kym Whitley, Byron Minns and Cedric Yarbrough.

Since the action/comedy film debuted in 2009, a graphic novel entitled Black Dynamite: Slave Island released in 2011, sparking even more interest in an animated series. A sequel, Black Dynamite 2, is apparently set to begin filming at the end of 2012.
