Fredericksburg, Virginia’s Art First Gallery is having its May 2012 exhibit featuring all of its member artists, and will run through May 28th. Among the artwork to be exhibited is Linda Warshaw’s acrylic painting “The Puppy,” which shows her sensitivity to all pets and her hopefulness that this stray puppy at an animal shelter will have a chance at a good life.
Shirley Whelan’s oil painting “Virginia Countryside” was created after a trip to picturesque Catlett, Virginia, in Fauquier County as she was seeking the perfect photo opportunity or inspiration for a painting.
Located in the heart of Old Town Fredericksburg, Art First Gallery is the city’s first established artists’ cooperative. Learn more at artfirstgallery.com and connect with the gallery on Facebook.
