Pre-order Maroon 5's "Payphone" ft Wiz Khalifa
The wait is over people! Maroon 5 ‘s first single from their upcoming 4th studio album Overexposed has been released in full. The song, entitled “Payphone,” was produced by Benny Blanco and features a verse from rising rapper Wiz Khalifa .
The group, alongside Wiz , performed the song live on lastnight’s episode of The Voice , with the song available now on iTunes . Adam Levine stated that the song is the most pop song that they’ve ever done, and he’s right. The song isn’t only radio-friendly, but very catchy and sure to reach the Top 10.
I love the song and I think it’s a great first single choice for the album. I can’t wait to see what else they roll out before the June 26 release date of the album. Take a listen to the song below and tell us what you think.
