The official music video for Drake and Rihanna‘s “Take Care” was reportedly set to premiere Friday, March 23 but did not release. The Yoann Lemoine-directed video was shot back in February, with pictures from the set making their way online a few weeks ago.
“Take Care” was written by Drake, along with Jamie Smith, and Noah Shebib, and will serve as the official fourth single from Drake‘s 2nd studio album of the same name. It’s primarily known as a hip-hop and R&B song, but incorporates electro, down-tempo, and alternative dance.
Upon release of the album, the song received general critical acclaim from music critics, with most praising Rihanna‘s vocal performance. Though not released as an official single, “Take Care” charted on the strength of downloads and made its chart debut at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with sales of over 162,000 copies. It managed to reach a peak of #7 before slowly declining down the chart.
