The official cover for Chris Brown‘s upcoming fifth studio album Fortune has been released. The album will be the first from the singer while on RCA Records, due to Jive‘s closing last year.
This cover, shot by photographers Gomillion and Leupold, is amazing. The various typefaces and “Fortune” displayed in different languages (including his own which needs a special key — see below), the color choices, and Chris‘ stance all work together to give you a feel of what to expect from the album: great music, a little mystery, and a lot of emotion.
The album is already kicking off into high gear due to the success of Chris‘ single “Turn Up the Music.”
I was so disappointed with F.A.M.E.’s album cover last year that I hesitated buying it in the store. It looked like it was completely rushed and cheaply done.
Fortune will feature appearances from Kevin McCall, Asher Roth, and will.i.am, with production from The Runners, David Guetta, and The Underdogs.
