‘When they speak, the world listens’?!   Well, no.  Not the whole world!  But what a shame they didn’t speak up about: the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan.  The ongoing terror and murder of the Palestinians.  The war hype now for Iran.  Where are all the viral videos about the terror and suffering and murder of THOSE children?  Where are all the celebrity voices speaking out about them?  That’s right – in that case, to speak out wouldn’t help their career; it could finish it.

To everyone who’s got the best intentions to help – be very, very wary. This isn’t a viral about helping people – this is a viral about justifying – actually CALLING FOR – another invasion into Africa.  (For a much more in depth look at it, see The Vigilant Citizen.)   And, instead following what the celebs say – take a look at the comments of those who’ve actually BEEN to Africa; who live in Africa; who know what’s really going on.  They aren’t crazy about this Kony thing.  Another boogeyman for the US to fight; while all the time, the war machine chunters on about Iran.

Anything that goes THIS viral; has this much mind control for the youngsters – isn’t on the side of the angels.  Imagine, if you will, this kind of propaganda campaign calling for people to plaster the walls with posters calling for help for the children who are the victims of the West’s insane war machine.  Imagine the celebrities calling for the impeachment of the Govts who pushed for those wars. And so forth.  And now compare it to the Kony phoney ….

If you really want to help – there are numerous charities already active in Africa.

Hmm… by “already active” you mean longer than 10 years? Because that’s how long one of the NGOs behind this campaign has been active there.

As far as another U.S. invasion into Africa, 100 U.S. military men and women were already deployed last Fall with no announced interest in sending more.

Uganda, or Central Africa in general, does not seem to be on the U.S. list of priorities… unless we’re getting into the recent talks of oil in the region. If so, it’s been a target for almost 5 years and I guess I’d need to see more proof of linkage to this campaign.

Kony 2012 is one cause and there are thousands of others to fight. Would it not be wise for anyone working on anti-Iran War-centered or anti-Iraq War-centered campaign to take notes and push harder to “go viral,” if that’s the organization’s goal?
