I have wonderful news for all of my fellow Katy Kats! The 27-year-old singer is set to hit the stage at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards on February 12th. This will be her 1st performance since the announcement of a divorce with Russell Brand in December 2011. She is nominated for two awards this year: Record of the Year and Best Female Pop Solo Performance for “Firework.”
Katy joins a star studded lineup for the biggest event in music which include Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Coldplay featuring Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Foo Fighters, Taylor Swift, and Nicki Minaj, just to name a few.
The 2012 Grammy Awards are produced by John Cossette Productions and AEG Ehrlich Ventures for The Recording Academy, with Ken Ehrlich as executive producer, Louis J. Horvitz as director, and David Wild and Ken Ehrlich as writers.
