Design Gone WRONG: Nia Long for Peta Ad is a FLOP

I don’t know where to start other than to say that A) I love Nia Long and B ) I love when people stand up for what they believe in. The unfortunate part of this is that the ad just looks so… bad … As a designer I’m baffled that any Art Director would let this surface! It looks like a rough sketch!

Did she get to approve this!? A random pole RIGHT by the door? Why is her crotch on the pole in the first place? Did they not see how the light and shadow on her image don’t match the dark train setting!?

In fact, it’s so bad that even the usually optimistic commenters on ConcreteLoop complained (lol). And most of them are right, though I begin cringing everytime someone refers to something as “ PHOTOSHOPPIN ‘.” A lot of the other sentiments circle around the feeling that nudity = dirty . What are we 12?

Why is it that no other ads for Naked For Peta look this poorly thought-out and badly executed?
